Grace is the the rag that cleans the things we get dirtiest. It wipes away all the muck and mud. We need grace because we get messy, because when we need cleaning it’s willing to take on our filth.
underrated movie characters I wish I knew more about: Shaleen, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008)
Shaleen is one of those characters who never really gets her own narrative within the context of the film and I’ve always wished we got the chance to know her better! We know she’s best friends with Jiggy and that she plays the guitar and that she can see Aditi’s feelings for Jai, but that’s about it. She’s a complete mystery otherwise and is the only character in the whole group that doesn’t have her own love story.
But there is that shot of her dancing with another girl in Pappu Can’t Dance, and I’ve always been a little curious about that. In my headcanon she maybe has a girlfriend who she doesn’t really talk about, but Jiggy and Aditi know her and maybe she sings and they have jam sessions together and are planning to possibly move in with each other in a few months.
